We are proud of the students in the upper classes of our school.
The children not only learn well and do their homework, but also willingly help the younger children and teachers of the school.
All the older students took an exam on the Russian language, the Prototype AP Russian Exam. All the students received the highest score - 5. Now, during admission to US colleges, they can use the exam results toward the requirement of Russian as a foreign language.
Lessons in the upper classes are conducted by teachers with experience teaching in college.
According to the teachers' feedback, the level of knowledge of Russian culture, history, Russian language and literature is very high.
The Russian Orthodox St. Serguis Assembly & Learning Center was founded at the Tolstoy Foundation Inc in 2007 in Valley Cottage, NY, USA. Our Center helps to preserve Russian culture and language, welcomes new students and organizes wonderful cultural events.
