Our lessons in Russian schools set objectives: - Educational - Instructional - Developmental

Russian literature fosters an Orthodox Christian worldview, spiritual contentment of life, generosity of heart, honesty and courage, forgiveness, and love of God's creation.

The mastery of literature teaches creative thinking and an aesthetic sense, an affinity with living conversational speech of the literary language and shows that the word varies verbally and by grammatical rules related to the physiology of speech, history of the way of life, era, etc.

A major role of literature belongs to the cause of mental and intellectual development: the amazing erudition that gives uncommon thinking and view of the world, and straightforward attitude towards those close to oneself.

That's why we teach Russian classical literature in our school to Russian students abroad so as have a knowledge of their roots and history.
